Dear Parents and Guardians,

At Mighty Moose Learning Centre, we strive to provide the highest quality education and support to our students. We understand that circumstances may arise that necessitate a refund. This refund policy outlines the conditions under which refunds will be granted, the process for requesting a refund, and any associated administrative fees.

The Summer Camps & Short-Term Programs section below applies to our summer camps and other short-term (typically one-week) programs, and takes precedence over the general program terms for those registrations. All other sections apply to our ongoing, year-long programs.

Summer Camps & Short-Term Programs

For summer camps and other short-term (typically one-week) programs, the following terms apply in place of the general program terms below:

• Program Cancellation: If Mighty Moose Learning Centre cancels a camp, you will receive a full refund of the fees paid.
• 14 or More Days Before the Camp Week: Withdraw at least 14 days before your camp week begins and receive a full refund, with no administrative fee.
• 7 to 13 Days Before the Camp Week: Receive a 50% refund, or transfer your registration to another available camp week at no charge—your choice.
• Within 7 Days of the Camp Week, or No-Show: Fees are non-refundable. On request, we will do our best to transfer your spot to another available week, subject to availability.

Transfer to Another Week: Prefer to switch weeks rather than cancel? Contact us at least 7 days before your camp week and we will move your registration to any other available week at no charge, subject to space.

Any third-party payment processing fees charged by our registration provider are non-refundable. To request a camp refund or week transfer, email info@mightymoose.ca with your child’s name, the camp week, and the reason for the request.

Eligibility for Refund (Year-Long Programs)

Refunds may be issued under the following conditions:

• Program Cancellation: If Mighty Moose Learning Centre cancels a program, students will receive a full refund of the fees paid.
• Withdrawal Prior to Program Start Date: Students who withdraw from a program at least 5 business days before the start date are eligible for a full refund, minus a $200 refund processing fee.
• Withdrawal After Program Start Date: Students who withdraw within the first month after the program start date are eligible for a partial refund. Mighty Moose will refund 75% of the tuition fees for the remaining classes the student will not attend, minus a $200 processing fee.
• Withdrawal after a month: No refunds will be issued after a month from the program start date.

Non-Refundable Fees

The following fees are non-refundable:

• Registration Fees: Any registration fees paid at the time of enrollment.
• Materials Fees: Fees for materials, books, or supplies that have been issued to the student.

Refund Processing Fee

An administrative fee of $200 will be deducted from all refunds to cover processing costs. This fee applies to all refund requests except in the case of program cancellation by Mighty Moose Learning Centre.

Refund Request Process

To request a refund, students/parents must:

1. Submit a Written Request: Submit a written request for a refund to info@mightymoose.ca within the specified time frame.
2. Provide Required Information: Include the student’s name, program name, start date, and reason for withdrawal in the refund request.
3. Processing Time: Refund requests will be processed within 10 business days of receipt. Approved refunds will be issued in the original form of payment.

Special Circumstances

In cases of medical emergencies, family emergencies, or other extenuating circumstances, students may be eligible for exceptions to the standard refund policy. Requests for exceptions must be submitted in writing and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
