Welcome to Mighty Moose Artsy French in Nature Summer Camp! This is a fully outdoor, immersive program where children discover French through creativity, nature, and play. Instead of memorizing vocabulary, campers naturally develop their French language skills through hands-on experiences in art, drama, storytelling, and outdoor exploration.

Inspired by authentic French culture, children explore La Fontaine’s fables, Charles Perrault’s fairy tales, Claude Monet’s artwork, and the Guignol puppet tradition while creating through drawing, painting, collage, mixed media, sculpture, and nature-inspired 3D art.

What Makes It Special

Surrounded by nature, children are encouraged to observe, imagine, create, and communicate in French throughout the day. Each camper brings home unique creations—such as illustrated nature journals, handcrafted artwork, puppets, and nature-inspired projects—while building confidence and practical French vocabulary through joyful, meaningful experiences.

Whether new to French or continuing their language journey, children will enjoy a nurturing outdoor environment where French comes alive through creativity, curiosity, and exploration.

Program Details

• August 17–21, 2026
• August 24–28, 2026
• August 31–September 4, 2026

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Drop-off Location: 5210 University Blvd, Vancouver — St. Anselm’s Anglican Church (Front Entrance), UBC Campus
• Cost: $349/week

What to Bring

Please bring a packed snack and lunch, a water bottle, a sunhat, sunscreen, and comfortable outdoor clothing suitable for active play and exploration.
