Jade Guo is the Co-Founder and Director of Academics at Mighty Moose Education Society. She is currently a PhD Candidate in Educational Studies at the University of British Columbia (UBC). At Mighty Moose, she develops educational programs, mentors instructors, and works closely with teacher candidates from UBC's Teacher Education Program to support excellent classroom practice.

Yang Liu is the Founder and Director of Innovation at Mighty Moose Education Society. With his expertise in the technology industry, he brings together his passion for education, technology, and community development to support innovative learning opportunities for children and families.

Albert Zang

Albert Zang brings over a decade of experience in technology leadership and a strong commitment to children’s growth and education. Drawing on both his technology expertise and parenting experience, Albert is dedicated to helping children develop curiosity, creativity, resilience, and adaptability.

Chieh LU

Chieh Lü is an educator, researcher, and multilingual language specialist with a strong passion for language education, intercultural learning, and creating meaningful learning opportunities for children from diverse backgrounds. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Educational Studies at the University of British Columbia, where her research focuses on language education, identity, and multilingual learners.

Keymo Nedd

Keymo Nedd is an experienced French educator with 19 years of teaching experience in both public and private school settings across British Columbia. With extensive experience in French education, curriculum development, and student-centred learning, Keymo brings a strong commitment to creating engaging and meaningful language learning experiences for students.

Su Yuan
External Language Advisor
Ph.D in Chinese Linguistics, M. Sc in Computational Linguistics, M.Phil. in Chinese Linguistics.
Su Yuan is a linguist, Chinese language educator, and researcher. Her interdisciplinary background bridges linguistics with emerging technologies such as natural language processing and artificial intelligence. She serves as an external advisor to Mighty Moose Education Society, advising on curriculum and language-learning approaches informed by her background in linguistics and pedagogy..

Marie-Hélène Tessier
French Teacher
MA in Holistic Education, MFA in Theatre and Creative Writing, BA in French Literature
Marie-Hélène Tessier is a visual artist, playwright, writer, and French educator with a strong passion for language, creativity, and the arts. Born in Montréal and raised in both Canada and France, she brings a rich bilingual and cross-cultural perspective to her teaching. At Mighty Moose, Marie-Hélène teaches French through the Lumières Method, an enriched approach that integrates art history, poetry, literature, storytelling, music, and drama. Her creative, student-centred approach encourages children to develop language skills through curiosity, intuition, and exploration while building confidence in a safe and joyful learning environment.

Sapna Jessa

Sapna is a DELF- and DALF-certified French language instructor with over eight years of experience inspiring students from elementary through high school to discover the joy of learning French. Her passion for French began through her own language journey and training with Alliance Française de Dubai, Alliance Française de Rouen, Alliance Française de Vichy, and Alliance Française de Lyon, France. Through her experience and cultural understanding, Sapna brings authentic French language and Francophone perspectives into every lesson.

Sara Abbasi

Sara is a passionate French educator with over 15 years of teaching experience in elementary schools and language institutes in both Iran and Canada. Before moving to Canada, Sara served as a French Language Department Supervisor, mentoring teachers, developing curriculum, and leading professional training workshops. In British Columbia, she teaches French to elementary students through interactive lessons incorporating songs, stories, games, crafts, and hands-on activities aligned with the B.C. curriculum. Fluent in French, English, and Farsi, Sara brings extensive international teaching experience and a genuine passion for inspiring young learners.

Ph.D in Ancient Chinese Language
Ms. Zhou is a Chinese language educator and curriculum specialist with expertise in Chinese language and culture. She holds a Ph.D. in Ancient Chinese Language from China. With experience as a curriculum designer and teacher trainer at a Confucius Institute in the United States, she has supported Chinese language education for both heritage and non-heritage learners.

Nina is a passionate and caring Chinese language teacher with experience supporting young learners at Surrey School District. As a native Mandarin speaker, Nina is passionate about sharing the richness of the Chinese language and culture with children, especially through her love for classical Chinese poetry and Peking Opera. She brings patience, creativity, and cultural knowledge to inspire students and help them build confidence in their Chinese learning journey.
